As I said, even if they’re making a joke it’s still not necessarily the best way to go about it. The stuff they’ve pointed out is something a lot of people ARE ridiculed for. It’s satirical, I get that. The “disgusting laundry” and whatnot are meant to emphasize that. But satire does often times genuinely insult something in order to say a behavior is wrong. All I’m saying is if they wanted to draw attention to the issue of body shaming, there were better ways to go about it. Like maybe using these types of phrases on the body of a car or something to point out that it’s just as ridiculous when you do it to a girl or a guy. So no, my basic comprehension levels are intact.
